As responsible stewards of Lake Tahoe and the regional environment, the Incline Village Crystal Bay Visitors Bureau has announced that they are moving forward with an innovative Fourth of July celebration beginning this year. Rather than fireworks, the “Incline Village Crystal Bay July 4th SkyShow,” will instead feature an exciting and environmentally responsible drone display from their partners Verge Aero. This decision represents the Bureau’s deep commitment to responsible stewardship of this pristine region. By championing an innovative new way to celebrate Independence Day, we are helping to reduce the risk of fire in our region; fireworks are responsible for starting more than 18,000 fires a year. Additionally, they are continuing to put the health of Lake Tahoe first by avoiding added pollutants from fireworks in the water, further supporting the ongoing efforts of improving water clarity.
